Interview with the Vampire (1994)
Beautiful romantic tale about the world of the vampires and their sufferings.
With the fantastic choice of the cast, even at that time they were not as popular as now, we simply cant imagine anyone else in their roles. The locations are so much within the genre that makes up to the atmosphere of the era.
Two female vampires - mother and daughter looking for a shelter, move into Byzantium Hotel to hide from other vampires.
They struggle to protect their secret and their own lives. There is of course, a pretty love line in the middle of the plot.
Another gorgeous Gothic story, dark and poetic. Very underrate movie, unfortunately...
Only Lovers Left Alive (2013)
Artistic, sophisticated and centuries old, two vampire lovers reunite, but their perfect romance is disrupted by the arrival of her uncontrollable younger sister.
Atmospheric movie with fantastic cast. Quite a slow paced film, but romantic and worth watching.
The Twilight Saga (2008)
Based on famous best seller novels by S. Meyer. Vampire romance saga of five movies.
This is probably the most known vampire movie ever shown on the big screens. In the core of the story lies a love story between a human girl and a vampire, who despite many difficulties and rules are struggling to stay together.
It was a great film to watch as a teenager, but one you are more careful to the movie, rather that the romantic aspect of it, you will find numerous things that just don't make any sense.
Let the Right One In (2008)
Swedish movie about a small boy of 12 years old - Oskar, who meets a neighbor girl Eli. She is mysterious and very reserved, but they manage to become friends and eventually she reveals her dark, terrifying secret to Oskar.
Very heavy, dark and sad movie.
Has quite a good US remake ''Let me in'' with young Cloe Moretz.
