5 Movies / Series about Sherlock

Sherlock Holmes (2009)

Fantastic movie in 3 parts with different stories and mysteries. Followed by Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and the remaining part is planned to be released by the end of 2021.

Definitely the best movie made about Sherlock with a great acting cast and superb special effects.

It is adventurous, smart and funny, what not to like...

Sherlock (2010)

British TV Series with 4 short season.

Sherlock - eccentric detective is perfectly portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch and a brave Watson by Martin Freeman.

Amazing and exciting series, very dynamic, mysterious with multiple unexpected turns.

Absolutely one of the best TV series of the last decade! Also for the book lovers, I recommend this one as it is the closest to the actual stories.

Elementary (2012)

7 seasons of not so popular series about recovering drug addict - Sherlock and Watson, wait what? Watson is a she and her name is Joan...(played by Lucy Liu) Not so common version of Sir Arthur's stories.

Otherwise same old characters and one investigation at a time for each episode.

Enola Holmes (2020)

Action & Comedy film about (new) sister of Sherlock Holmes, who is also very stubborn and passionate about solving the riddles.

Enola was staying with her mother her whole life, until mother unexpectedly left, so then Enola goes on adventure to find her and solve the mystery of her disappearance.

Interesting acting cast, very exciting and full of action movie, nice visuals. Only it is not much related to Sherlock himself, even though he appears in couple of scenes.

The Irregulars (2021)

A very new British crime drama series are about to be released on Netflix.

Plot: Misfits investigate a series of supernatural crimes in Victorian London for Dr. Watson and his shadowy associate, Sherlock Holmes.

By the way, The Baker Street Irregulars is a gang of young street children whom Sherlock Holmes often employs to aid his cases. You may also see them in Sherlock.

This is something absolutely new - Sherlock + supernatural, but definitely looking forward to check it out.
